Andy & Alice’s Wedding at the English Wine Centre

Today saw the wedding of Andy & Alice at the English Wine Centre near Alfriston. The English Wine Centre has always been a special venue to photograph at for me as I got married there myself a few years ago – its such a great venue with lovely gardens and amazing views. We arrived to meet the groom Andy at the English Wine Centre for a few photos with his best man.Groom at the English Wine CentreGuest relaxing before an east sussex wedding

It wasn’t long before the bride arrived  with her two bridesmaids and father so after she’d seen the registrar we just had time for a few quick photos before it was off into the barn for the wedding ceremony. As Alice walked up the isle I’m not sure who had the biggest smile the bride or her very proud father! Alice walked up the isle whilst Andy’s sister played her in on the flute which was a lovely touch. Andy’s initial nerves disappeared as soon as he set eyes on Alice who truly looked amazing and it was a lovely ceremony which saw one of Andy & Alice’s amazingly talented friends perform a song that she had written for them which was both moving and very funny – such a lucky couple to have so many lovely and talent friends. bride at the english wine centre alfristonsussex barns weddingbride and groom leaving the barn after their weddingbride abnd brides maidseast sussex wedding photographer matt bodewedding photography at the english wine centre

Following the ceremony everyone left the barn to a drinks reception in the beautiful gardens at the English Wine Centre which were in full bloom and we the perfect setting for this relaxed wedding. After the group photos we managed to spend some time with Andy & Alice getting some amazing photos for them before it was back to the barn and into the marquee for the wedding breakfast.

After the wedding breakfast it was time for the speeches which were both entertaining and very funny. It was then time for the cutting of the cake and time for us to leave the couple to enjoy the rest of their day.
