Just over a week ago now I was fortunate enough to work with some great local wedding suppliers to put together a wedding photography shoot at the new Seaford Head Golf Club to produce some marketing photos and to show what a wedding at the venue would look like. It was a really good day and I got to work with some great local suppliers who are some of the best wedding professionals in the area.
It had been a bit of an unsettled weekend weather wise so we were very lucky to have some good weather for the shoot although the sea mist came in towards the end of the day. We started the day with Aiden my assistant and I having a good look round to narrow down the locations we wanted to use while the brides had their hair and makeup done by Nikki, Michelle & Sian from Unique Hair & Beauty.
Once we’d got a rough plan together we sorted out some of the finer details like the wonderful wedding cake from Terri at Cake-and-Bake which she’d very kindly lent us for the day and some flowers from Church Lane Flowers.
So with everything in place and the final touches being added to Harry our first groom we made a start outside of the club house. We were so lucky to have so many great people working on the shoot and some great models as well with Brooke and Harry who go a fair few interesting looks from some of the golfers! Even though it was a Tuesday morning it was good to see so many people using both the club and all the club house facilities.
Just like we would in a normal wedding we move round the club house taking photos in different areas to give different looks and then we were off onto the course for a few photos before taking a well deserved lunch break.
Later in the afternoon we were join by Jo and Mitch another lovely couple who’d given up their time to come and help out on the shoot. After a few photos around the club house we headed up to the far end of the golf course to get some photos with the amazing views of the seven sisters and some lovely photos in the evening sun.
If you’re looking for a great wedding venue Seaford Head Golf Club is defiantly worth a look as the views are amazing from the club house – hopefully we’ll be back there very soon to get some more photos without the sea mist!
